Requirements

 My mother told my sister and me something yesterday.

She looked us in the eyes and said

"The man who is not afraid of your character, the man who does not fear your knowledge but recognizes its power and importance? That is the man you should keep."

I completely agree.

My own additional and personal requirements for a man?

He has to be able to open a pickle jar and he has to go to church with me.

Meet these requirements.

Right Person, Wrong Time.

 I think that the phrase "right person, wrong time" is bullshit. I wish I could tell my 14-year-old self that it's bullshit. I want her to know why it's bullshit. She wouldn't believe me, though. I wish she knew. The right person comes at the right time in the right way.
