Fate

 I think it's a little unfair, the way that fate tempts us with a happy ending. 

Fate thinks she is so clever. She enjoys games because they never hurt her. She enjoys them because they hurt other people.

Every time there is a glimmer of the future, you realize it is the moon of a dark night reflecting in a black pool of water.

When you reach for the light, the water ripples and pushes your boat back to where it started.

I think I will keep reaching out anyway.

Fate cannot tempt me and win.

Right Person, Wrong Time.

 I think that the phrase "right person, wrong time" is bullshit. I wish I could tell my 14-year-old self that it's bullshit. I want her to know why it's bullshit. She wouldn't believe me, though. I wish she knew. The right person comes at the right time in the right way. If they don't come at the right time, it's the wrong person and the wrong time.  The right person will love you deeply, little girl. He won't make you cry. He'll give you good hugs and real kisses, not just the wish to do such things. He will know you like his own mind. He will be good to you. He will love you in a real and authentic way.  I'm mad at you. Yes, you. You know who you are. I'm mad because you showed me everything that I could possibly ever want in a man and then you left.
